USA Collision Centers “Ed Taylor” runs for Man of the Year USA Collision Centers is proud toannounce that Calvin “Ed” Taylor, store general manager with USA CollisionCenters has accepted the nomination to compete in the 2008 Cincinnati / NorthernKentucky Leukemia and Lymphoma Society “Man and Woman of the Year” campaign.
This ten week fundraising campaign kickedoff March 6th 2008 with a party at the BMW Store on Stewart Rd. Thecampaign will run now through May 16th with a grand finale party forthe candidates at the Hyatt downtown on May 16th.
Over the course of the ten week campaign,candidates are working hard to raise as much money as possible. At theconclusion of the campaign the male and female who have raised the most moneyare crowned “Man & Woman of the Year”.
When asked why he has accepted thischallenge Ed stated “The main reason for my joining the fight againstthese cancers is the diagnosis of my best friend’s wife Annmarie. She wasdiagnosed in December of 2003 with Leukemia (AML). She has undergone numerousrounds of chemo and has had two transplants. Seeing her fight this battle hasmade me want to fight to find a cure. I was diagnosed with diabetes when I wasseven and have directly benefited from fundraisers like this one, and now it ismy turn to pay it forward.”

In 2006 Joe Sanfillipo III, Chief Operating Officerfor USA Collision Centers also ran for
“Man of the Year”. Joe’s wife Annmarie has been battling Leukemia (AML) since2003.
She has had two transplants at the Cleveland Clinic.Under the care of Dr .Slobodan Stanisic from Cincinnati Hematology and Oncology,Annmarie has been cancer free since 2005.

Ed has workedfor USA Collision Centers for seven years. Ed is 33 years old, married and hastwo daughters. Ed lives in Cheviot and has lived in Cincinnati’s West Sidecommunity his entire life. Prior to taking over USA’s Price Hill location Edopened USA’s Sycamore Twp location in 2003. This year at the company’sawards banquet Ed won the 110% award. This is the highest award USA CollisionCenters gives to an employee. The award is given to someone who goes above andbeyond at work and in community service.
